$125 per Trainee (plus $399 flat fee per class - no minimum class size)

Our Scissor Lift Operator Certification Program provides your employees with IVES Training Group’s comprehensive WorkSafeBC-compliant curriculum. We train your operators on your equipment at your jobsite to ensure your employees receive the right knowledge and skills for their specific job.

• Inspections (including Pre-start/Daily)

• Safe Operation

• Post-operation

Equipment: Scissor Lift, MEWP Type 3 Group A (we train on your equipment at your jobsite)

Duration: 4-8 hours dependent on operator experience (includes theory, written exam, & practical evaluation)

Location: Your jobsite

Class Size: 1 to 12

Certification Criteria:

• 80% on written exam

• Competency Demonstrated on practical evaluation

Certification Length: 3 years

Training Standard Compliance: CSA B354.8

Documentation:

• Trainees will receive an Operator’s Reference Manual & an Operator Wallet Card (if certification criteria passed).

• Employers will receive original records of certification including exam and practical evaluation.

• Benbow Safety Training retains copies of all documentation.

Travel Costs:

• No travel costs for courses delivered on southern Vancouver Island (south of Nanaimo).

• Elsewhere on the island and the rest of BC, travel costs will be added to the course fees and are calculated when you request a quote.
