About Benbow Safety Training
Locally-owned and family-operated, Benbow Safety Training is based on Vancouver Island and delivers in-person industrial safety training on jobsites throughout BC. We provide you with the necessary certifications to meet the Provincial and Federal Occupational Health and Safety requirements for your equipment and occupation.
To us, safety certification is more than just having the right paperwork. It’s a practical way of assessing risk and approaching tasks where every worker’s safety is the priority, and jobsite accidents are preventable. At Benbow Safety Training every class is taught with this in mind.

Sean Benbow
Owner / Certified Trainer
Sean Benbow is certified by IVES Training Group to train and certify operators of powered mobile equipment including counterbalanced forklifts, rough terrain telehandlers, and mobile elevating work platforms (aerial boom lifts & scissor lifts).
He is also trained and certified by 3M’s Fall Protection Group Inc. to deliver their Fall Protection Authorized Person Essentials, Fall Protection Authorized Person Comprehensive, and Confined Space Entrant and Attendant training programs for British Columbia, Alberta, and Canada (federal) jurisdictions.
